Rocky Mountain Shakedown

Rocky Mountain Shakedown (formerly known as Bergeron, Leadfoot & Tellier or B.L.T.) has a lot of firsts for me: first time playing with a drummer, first time playing blues, first time writing songs, first time recording originals. It is a blast to play with such great musicians and craft some of my favourite music => roots and blues/americana/folk. Laissez les bon temps rouler!

Howie Bergeron on guitar, National tricone & dobro, Marshall ‘Leadfoot’ Lawrence on percussion & guitar, and Toby Tellier on standup bass & banjo are sure to get your feet stompin’.

The Labyrinth

This short film is in the beginning stages of post-production.

Each season for more than a decade, Sheryl Ackerman and Jean Ure having been offering labyrinth walks on a hand-made cloth Minoan labyrinth at the Riverdale Community Hall in Edmonton, Alberta. It is a beautiful 7-circuit, Crete-style labyrinth made with golden beads on purple broadcloth that is 36 feet square. This short-film is about the Riverdale Labyrinth and the friendships that sustain it.

365 Days of Photos – Today I Snapped

TodayISnapped.com

In December 2010, I dusted off my camera. It had been awhile since I had taken any pictures and wanted to learn how to take better photos. I am inspired to practice and play and to try and capture what I see. One photo a day when I can.
